Regional Finance Manager - APAC

About the company:

A globally expanding business is growing their regional hub in Hong Kong . The company is currently looking to grow their finance team in Hong Kong and is looking for a Regional Finance Manager to join and manage the financial and management reporting functions. The position will report to the head of finance in Asia and take part in growing the team and its Asia presence. The firm has an entrepreneurial culture and international working environment.

The role:

  • Manage all rounded finance functions including monthly reporting and closing duties
  • Lead and deliver monthly consolidated accounts whilst ensuring internal controls and compliance are met
  • Work closely and monitor accounting services and business relationships
  • Analysis and management reporting duties to advise stakeholders on business performance
  • Assist with moving internal overseas processes to the Hong Kong regional headquarters
  • Monitor company cash flow situations and ensure treasury functions alongside relevant reporting
  • Implement and maintain group internal controls, liaise with auditors
  • Prepare tax computation and assist in tax planning
  • Build a team, develop newly hired subordinates

Requirements:

  • Degree Holder or above in Accounting, CPA Qualified Accountant
  • At least 8 years of working experience in a growing business or ability to adapt in an entrepreneurial environment
  • Former experience in a regional role would be preferred
  • Excellent knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and ability to enhance internal controls
  • Fluency in English and Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin)
