Regional (Assistant) Marketing Manager, Distributor Market

Job description

You will play a critical role in developing and executing marketing strategies to maximize sales, enhance brand equity, and foster strong partnerships with distributors.


  • Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies and plans targeted specifically for the APAC export markets, aligned with overall brand objectives and sales goals.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and distributors to create and execute impactful marketing campaigns, promotions, and product launches.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify key opportunities, market trends, and consumer insights within the distributor market segment.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors, providing them with marketing support, tools, and resources to drive brand visibility and sales growth.
  • Monitor and analyze market and competitor activities, identifying potential threats and recommending proactive strategies to maintain a competitive edge.
  • Track and measure the effectiveness of marketing initiatives, utilizing key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate ROI and make data-driven decisions.
  • Stay up to date on industry best practices, emerging trends, and innovative marketing techniques to continually enhance marketing strategies and tactics.


  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related disciplines.
  • A minimal 5 years of relevant work experience with a proven track record of success in marketing roles within the consumer brand industry, preferably gained from international brands. Prior regional exposure is required.
  • Strong understanding of distributor market dynamics, channel strategies, and distributor relationship management.
  • Demonstrated experience in developing and executing successful marketing campaigns, promotions, and product launches for multiple markets in APAC.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with distributors and internal stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical mindset, with the ability to interpret market data, consumer insights, and sales metrics to drive marketing strategies.
  • Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on innovation and differentiation in the marketplace.
  • Proficiency in marketing tools and platforms, including CRM systems, digital marketing channels, and analytics tools.
  • Willingness to travel as needed to meet with distributors and attend industry events.
