Our client is a leading multinational retailer with a strong presence across Asia. With Hong Kong serving as the regional hub, the company is seeking a dedicated Assistant Accountant to support its expanding operations and ensure accurate financial reporting across multiple markets.

Position Responsibilities

• Full Set of Accounts: Manage and maintain the full set of accounting records, ensuring compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
• Management Reporting: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual management reports for assigned Asian markets, providing insights to support business decisions.
• Regional Support: Collaborate with finance teams across Asia to consolidate financial data and ensure timely reporting.
• SAP System Usage: Handle daily accounting operations and reporting using SAP, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
• Retail/Consumer Industry Focus: Apply industry-specific knowledge to manage inventory, sales, and expense accounting processes.
• Compliance & Audit: Assist in statutory audits, tax filings, and internal control reviews.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with operations, merchandising, and regional finance teams to support business growth

Position Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline.
• Minimum 3-5 years of accounting experience, with exposure to full set of accounts and management reporting.
• Regional experience handling multiple markets in Asia preferred.
• Hands-on experience with SAP is essential.
• Prior experience in the retail or consumer goods industry is highly desirable.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Proven track record of stable career history with consistent contributions.
• Proficiency in English and Cantonese; Mandarin is an advantage.
