Regional Accountant, MNC, 35k

Our client is a prestigious, market leading trading and manufacturing company in its own industry. With its ongoing growth in business, the need arises for an Accountant position based in Hong Kong to oversee the financial aspects of the company's business in South East Asia regions.

Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will be responsible for the following:

• Participate in month-end closing, e.g. preparation of journals, account analysis and reconciliations
• Ensure that all month-end and yearly-end closing are completed accurately, in timely manner and in accordance with corporate guideline
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and statutory disclosure requirements
• Assist in monthly management report and performance analysis preparation
• Enhance and maintain financial reporting and tracking systems.

Requirements

• Degree holder in Accounting, Finance or equivalent professional qualifications
• Preferably Member of recognized accounting professional bodies, e.g. HKICPA/ACCA
• At least 5 years auditing and accounting experience, with experience acquired in Retail/FMCG/Sourcing/Manufacturing preferred
• Regional accounting experienced is highly preferred
• Good command of English, Mandarin and Cantonese
