The Corporate Accountant will be responsible for day‑to‑day bookkeeping, month‑end close processes, intercompany accounting, and preparation of financial and regulatory reports for the firm's investment entities.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate general ledger records and process day‑to‑day accounting entries for multiple investment entities.
- Review monthly financial statements and prepare supporting schedules.
- Prepare monthly cash position reports and assist with fund‑related financial analysis.
- Record and reconcile intercompany transactions across the group.
- Handle office expense recharge entries for various funds.
- Review staff expense claims to ensure compliance with internal policies.
- Process funding requests, online wires, and operating expense payments.
- Support preparation and submission of MAS quarterly regulatory returns.
- Ensure all financial documentation is properly maintained and aligned with internal controls.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline.
- 5-10 years of accounting experienc with accounting qualification
- Strong bookkeeping skills and familiarity with month‑end close procedures.
- Solid understanding of general ledger, reconciliations, and intercompany transactions.
- Prior experience with MAS reporting or fund structures is a plus.
- High attention to detail, strong time‑management skills, and ability to meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in Excel; experience with accounting systems is an advantage.
