QA Automation Engineer
Job description
Job Duties
- Develop and maintain automated testing frameworks for web, mobile, API, and database platforms using tools like Cypress, Selenium, Appium, and REST Assured.
- Implement GitOps-driven quality workflows with Argo CD, integrating automated test execution and quality gate enforcement into CI/CD pipelines.
- Design and manage self-service test environments with automated setup, test data seeding, and full-suite execution for on-demand provisioning.
- Create performance testing automation using MeterSphere and integrate chaos engineering tools like Gremlin for resilience validation.
- Build testing pipelines in CloudBees CI with smart test selection, parallel execution, and integration of security, accessibility, and performance testing.
- Monitor quality metrics using Datadog dashboards, define SLOs/SLIs, and apply machine learning for predictive quality analytics and failure pattern analysis.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives through automated quality reporting, benchmarking, and developer feedback integration.
Requirements
- Minimum 4 years of experience in test automation with modern frameworks and CI/CD integration.
- At least 3 years of hands-on experience in performance, API, and mobile testing automation.
- 2+ years of experience in cloud testing, preferably with AWS and containerized applications.
- Strong understanding of GitOps practices and Infrastructure as Code testing.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as TypeScript, Python, Kotlin, and C# for test development.
- Familiarity with tools like SonarQube, Datadog, CloudBees CI, and Argo CD for quality analysis and pipeline optimization.
- AWS certifications and experience with accessibility, security testing, and compliance validation are preferred.
