Purchasing Manager (Electronics | 40 - 50k)

My client is market leading consumer electronics brand. Looking to enhance their sourcing function, they are now in search of a Purchasing.

Reporting to the Purchasing Director, your responsibilities will include:

• Lead and manage the sourcing team to ensure efficient and effective procurement processes.
• Develop and implement sourcing strategies to meet the company's goals and objectives.
• Identify, evaluate, and manage relationships with key suppliers and vendors.
• Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing to achieve the best value for the company.
• Monitor market trends and industry developments to stay ahead of the competition.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product development, quality assurance, and logistics, to ensure seamless operations.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance sourcing efficiency and effectiveness.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and ethical standards.

To qualify, one must possess

• Degree holder with at least 6 years of sourcing experience within the consumer electronics industry
• Strong market knowledge and staying close to most new-to-market components / technology
• Team leading experience
• Good communication and stakeholde3r management skills
• Good command of both written and spoken Chinese and English
