Project Finance Director - Based in Taiwan

About the client

A growing business in renewable energy projects for offshore wind farms in Taiwan. This is a fantastic opportunity to join an innovative team with a focus on sustainable development.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement financial strategies, including funding and risk management.
• Oversee financial planning and analysis to optimize project funding and financial health.
• Drive financial decision-making to align with project goals.
• Manage financial aspects from project development to construction.

• Secure project financing and maintain relationships with banks, export credit agencies, and institutional investors.
• Coordinate with the project team and ensure effective communication with advisors and financing parties.
• Develop and maintain financial models to assess project viability and risks.
• Engage with investors, board members, and regulatory authorities.

• Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; Chartered Accountant, CPA, or CFA preferred.
• Proven experience in project finance for infrastructure or renewables industry
• Strong leadership skills and experience in financial modelling and analysis.
• In-depth knowledge of finance, accounting principles, and regulatory compliance.
• Must be open to relocate to Taiwan
• Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team.
• Fluency in English; Chinese language skills are a plus.
