Project Accountant

The Company

Our client is a sourcing company with business over 18 countries around the world. They source from the APAC area and export to Europe countries. They are hiring the project accountant, responsible for the management of company projects covering Finance and IT areas and timely execution of risk-based internal audits in accordance with the annual audit plan. This role will directly report to the Finance Director.

Responsibilities

• Manage and drive company projects in Finance and IT areas covering planning, controlling, documenting and implementing the projects at various stages
• Perform testing and control audit cycle based on annual plan developed including risk management and control management over operations' effectiveness, financial reliability and compliance with all applicable directives and regulations
• Document processes and maintain audit documentations
• Review the internal control weakness and make recommendations as part of the audit process
• Prepare and present reports on audit results and follow up audits to monitor improvements where necessary
• Job split approximately - 75% projects and 25% audit

Requirements

• Degree in Accounting or Finance or any relevant discipline.
• Minimum 2 years of audit experience, welcome Big 4 audit candidates
• Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Sound business acumen and excellent analytical skills
• Able to work under pressure and to meet tight deadlines
