Principal Software Architect (In-House/ Permanent)

Job Responsibilities

The incumbent will

• Create overall strategic technology vision for a significant and large scaled global application in a cloud native environment.
• Lead the software design, backend and middleware architecture design of the application.
• Provide recommendation and design roadmaps of the solution based on commercial objectives, business analysis, market's best practices and resources available.
• Work closely with product design and client servicing team to understand business and client requirements, provide latest updates to various stakeholders on project progression and features available.
• Provide technical leadership to internal development teams and vendors.
• Established and improved proper architecture and SDLC standards.
• Ensure alignment and smooth integration of software products development across different business units and teams.

Qualification and Requirement

• Technical Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related disciplines is required.
• At least 10+ years of work experience in software architecture design and application development with .NET CORE, ASP.NET, MVC, C#, SQL Server, etc.
• Proven success track record in developing large-scaled, complex and Azure cloud-native application is a must.
• Familiar with modern application architecture including microservices and SPA (Single Page Architecture).
• Good experience in Azure Kubernetes Service, CI/CD, Application Containerization and GitHub.
• Experience in working with remote developing team.
• A strong communicator and able to influence stakeholders at all levels across the organization.
• Excellent command in English is a must.
