Payroll Coordinator (International law firm, up to HK$40k)

Job description

Our client is an international law firm with over offices across the globe, they are currently looking for a Payroll Coordinator join their Hong Kong finance team.

Report to the Accounting manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Process payroll accurately and in a timely and confidential manner, relating to expatriate/partners
  • Confirm MPF calculation and ensure compliance to firms' policy
  • Review pay slips and other payroll reports prepared by outsourced vendor
  • Review tax returns, prepare relevant supporting documents and liaise with tax representative
  • Process payment request, cheque run and online vendor and expense payments
  • Reconcile vendor statements and post vendor invoices
  • Handle ad hoc duties as required

To qualify, individuals must possess:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or Accounting and Finance
  • At least 3 years payroll experiences
  • CPA qualification is a must
  • Excellent communication with good language skills
  • Self-motivated, problem solving skills and able to work independently
  • Speaks fluent in both English and Chinese (Mandarin and Cantonese)
