Operational Risk Manager - Life Insurance

Job description

Responsibilities:

  • Foster a strong risk culture through consistent communication to staff and distribution channels and relevant training
  • Support and coordinate the Operational Risk Committee and other relevant management committees
  • Review and provide risk inputs on products or business initiatives such as outsourcing, procurement, etc.
  • Compile and coordinate the preparation of the Committee pack. Prepare meeting minutes.
  • Review key risk indicators prepared by functions and ensure they are relevant with flagged items properly reported and resolved
  • Be responsible for Operational Risk Incident Reporting, ensure incidents are well looked-after and preventive methods have been implemented

Requirements:

  • Bachelor degree holder; At least 7 years Risk Management or Control related function experiences in Financial Services
  • Life Insurance experience is a must; Big 4 background candidates would be highly preferred
  • Advocate in promoting and driving Risk Culture within an organisation
  • Proficiency in English and Chinese
