Merchandiser - Mobile Accessories

Job description

Our client is a large and established retailer operating across multiple European markets, offering a wide range of technology products, services, and household electronics through both physical stores and online platforms. As part of their continued category growth, they are looking to appoint a Merchandiser - Mobile Accessories to support end‑to‑end product lifecycle management, supplier performance, and category execution within a fast‑moving retail environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage end‑to‑end product lifecycle activities, from sourcing and buying preparation through launch and in‑season performance
  • Plan and prepare buying trips, ensuring effective range selection and product readiness
  • Manage and continuously review supplier performance across pricing, quality, delivery, and trading terms
  • Support category performance monitoring, identifying risks and recommending corrective actions
  • Work closely with cross‑functional teams to deliver category objectives through strong collaboration
  • Contribute to sourcing and category strategy development aligned with commercial goals

Requirements:

  • Degree in Business, Marketing, Purchasing, or related disciplines preferred
  • >3 years' experience in merchandising, buying, or product management within a sizable organisation
  • Product exposure to accessories, consumer electronics, or related categories is an advantage
  • Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills
  • Fluent in English, Mandarin, and Cantonese
  • Comfortable working to deadlines in a fast‑paced environment
  • Strong IT proficiency and data‑driven mindset
