About the client

Our client is a listed company with focus on consumer goods, FMCG and medical products globally. They are currently looking for a Managing Director - M&A to manage the full cycle of their acquisitions strategy. The suitable candidate will have a strong network to accumulate deals over various industries and have the experience to screen and execute suitable options for the business.


  • Formulate and execute investment strategies aligned with the firm's direction and risk appetite
  • Ability to source deals independently through networks and screen potential acquisitions or investment opportunities
  • Conduct research and analysis for various investment opportunities, such as private equity, real estate and other businesses
  • Identify potential investment risks and mitigate any possibilities of the potential risks
  • Monitor and evaluate the investment performance, and provide regular reports for the investments
  • Build and maintain relationships with external investment managers, advisors, and other industry professionals.
  • Work closely with other internal stakeholders such as legal and finance teams to ensure compliance with relevant regulations and best practices.


  • Bachelor's degree in finance, Economics, or a relevant disciplines
  • Proven experience with minimum 12 years of management experience gained from the investment management / investment banking industries, preferably within a private equity experience
  • Strong ability to independently source deals and manage deal flow
    In depth knowledge of various investment vehicles and asset classes
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with the ability to conduct comprehensive financial analysis and due diligence.
  • Excellent understanding of risk management principles and experience in implementing risk mitigation strategies.
  • Demonstrated track record of successful investment performance and value creation.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively articulate complex investment concepts to stakeholders.
  • Strong leadership abilities and the capacity to mentor and develop team members.
