Position Overview

The Risk Manager will be responsible for identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks across the organization. This role requires a proactive professional who can design and implement risk management strategies, ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, and provide guidance to senior management on emerging risks that may impact business operations.

Position Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement risk management policies, frameworks, and procedures tailored to the sourcing industry.
  • Identify, assess, and monitor operational, financial, regulatory, and reputational risks.
  • Conduct regular risk assessments and provide recommendations to mitigate potential exposures.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to embed risk awareness into business processes and decision‑making.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Prepare risk reports and present findings to senior management and the board.
  • Support business continuity planning and crisis management initiatives.
  • Stay updated on market trends, regulatory changes, and geopolitical developments that may affect sourcing operations.

Position Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Risk Management, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field (Master's degree or professional certification such as FRM/PRM is a plus).
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in risk management, compliance, or audit, preferably within sourcing, trading, or supply chain industries.
  • Strong knowledge of risk management frameworks and regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment.
  • High level of integrity and attention to detail.
  • Fluency in English is essential
