Manager, IT Support - Financial Services Firm

About the client:

Our client is a global buyside firm with nearly US$150b AUM. They are expanding their business in Hong Kong with office in Central.

Responsibilities

• Report to Head of Infrastructure in APAC region, and manage a small team of 2-3 to regionally support L1-L2 functions
• Maintain and operate BAUs, including desktop, server, network, IT security and telephony administration and support
• Keep the core IT operating environment to ensure stable trades with front-line business
• Manage external vendors to ensure service quality
• Collaborate with the global/APAC team on strategic projects within to further develop the functions

Requirements

• Degree holder in Information Technology or related discipline is required
• 5+ years experience working in an IT support role serving in financial industry, eg banks, insurances, investment firms etc
• Prior experience in managerial position with direct supervision to a team
• Strong working knowledge in Microsoft technologies, eg Active Directory, DNS, DHCP and TCP/IP etc
• Excellent command in English and Cantonese
