Manager, Finance Operation, Sales Audit

The Company

Our client is a US listed retail company offers clothing, accessories and home furnishings. They are hiring a Finance Operation Manager, Sales Audit. This role is a regional role taking care of the APAC market for around 10 countries to maintain all sales audit record and implement Sales Audit process to improve the retail finance operation procedure. The candidate will lead a team of 4 and reports to the Finance Operation Lead.

Responsibilities

  • Manage Sales Audit staffs and oversee daily, weekly, and monthly sales audit report
  • Ensure all Sales Audit transactions are correctly booked, and month end closing procedure are accurately carried out on time and to meet the deadline
  • Liaise with merchant service provider to create merchant account and arrange payment terminal with training to new store staff
  • Manage all aspects of Sales Audit activities, includes Fraud prevention session and credit card refund to customer etc.
  • Review and monitor SOP (Standard Operation Procedure) and advise store on a proper procedure
  • Propose and implement Sales Audit process improvements to achieve operational excellence
  • Conduct regular meetings with Retail Operations team and management for processes improvement
  • Liaise with Internal / External Auditors
  • Adhere and enforce internal SOX compliance
  • Customer focus and setup meeting with service provider or key internal customers to help build relationship and aid issue resolution

Requirement

  • High Diploma or Bachelor of Degree holder in Accounting or related discipline
  • Minimum 5 years or above relevant experience. preferably in retail industry or MNCs
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft applications (Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint), preferable knowledge of finance system in Dynamic 365 / BI or similar ERP system and POS system
  • Detail-oriented, good time management, self-motivated, strong problem-solving skills, willing to learn and ability to meet the deadline
  • Good command of both written and spoken English, Cantonese, and Mandarin
