M365 Engineer

Job Duties

Manage and maintain appropriate access controls and licensing models across Microsoft 365 services.
Serve as the escalation point for Microsoft 365-related issues, driving incidents through to resolution.
Administer Microsoft Exchange Online and Microsoft Teams environments.
Assess, recommend, and implement Microsoft 365 messaging solutions to replace existing third‑party tools where appropriate.
Evaluate and adopt Microsoft mobile device management solutions to replace current third‑party platforms.
Monitor, investigate, and remediate alerts and advisories within the Microsoft 365 environment.
Support the business in the adoption and effective use of Microsoft 365 services, including OneDrive, Intune, Power Apps, and related tools.
Stay up to date with Microsoft 365 enhancements and collaborate with business stakeholders to identify opportunities to deliver business value through new features and technologies.

Job Requirements

Strong knowledge of the Microsoft 365 platform and its core capabilities.
Hands-on administration experience with Microsoft Exchange Online and Microsoft Teams.
Hands-on experience administering Azure Active Directory (Azure AD).
Experience managing conditional access policies within Microsoft environments.
Understanding of Microsoft 365 user and product licensing models.
Proven experience taking end-to-end ownership of technical delivery.
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Interest in developing skills on the Microsoft Azure platform, with a willingness to learn and grow proficiency in supporting Azure infrastructure.
Experience administering Azure resources with an understanding of available Azure technologies.
Exposure to Azure Firewall, networking technologies, and Azure virtual machines.
Understanding of role-based access control (RBAC) and permissions management.
Azure-related certifications are advantageous.
