Key Account Manager - FMCG

Job description

We're looking for a Key Account Manager for a leading FMCG brand. They are looking for a dynamic key account management professional to join their modern trade team in Hong Kong.

As a Key Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing strategic relationships with major key accounts. Your goal is to drive sales, optimize in-store execution, and deliver win-win outcomes for both the brand and its retail partners.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and grow key modern trade accounts.
  • Develop and execute joint business plans, promotional calendars, and category strategies.
  • Lead annual negotiations on trading terms, pricing, and promotional support.
  • Monitor sales performance, analyze data, and identify growth opportunities.
  • Collaborate with trade marketing, supply chain, and finance teams to ensure flawless execution.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 3-5+ years of experience in key account management within the FMCG industry, with a strong focus on modern trade in Hong Kong.
  • Solid understanding of the local retail landscape and shopper behavior.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.
  • Fluent in English and Cantonese is required.
