Java Programmer, insurance, 30K

Job description

A stable insurance company is now looking for a JAVA developer to join their team.

Responsibilities

  • Perform system development, testing, implementation, maintenance support and user training
  • Support System Analyst to perform system analysis and design of functional module
  • Participate in on-going system support & enhancement
  • Conduct SIT and support UAT to ensure the enhanced systems meet the requirement specifications
  • Prepare documentation and technical specifications

Qualifications

  • University Degree holder in Computer Science or IT related disciplines
  • At least 3 years' practical work experience in Information Technology; Demonstrated experience in Life Insurance and Employee Benefit Insurance is a definite asset
  • IFRS 17 experience is preferable
  • Experience in JAVA, servlet, JSP, Javascript, HTML, Crystal Report and Jasper Report
  • Knowledge of Spring, Hibernate, Node.js, Vue.js will be an advantage
  • Knowledge of AIX, Websphere, Oracle, MS SQL, Mobile App development, VB .Net/Visual Basic will be an advantage
  • Good analytical mind and problem solving skills
  • Good interpersonal, verbal and communication skills
  • Good command of written and spoken Chinese and English
  • Candidate with less experience will be considered as Programmer
