IT QA Manager (Manual & Automation)- Insurance 65-72k

Job description

Responsibilities:

  • 15+ years of experience in software testing, with at least 5 yearss as Test Lead.
  • Lead testers from Hong Kong, Philipine and Indian (around 20 team members).
  • Deliver quality work to our clients starts with understanding their needs and requirements. Write test strategy and plan, know how to allocate resouces for testing to align with tighten testing schedule.
  • Must be able to identify how his test teams align within an organization and how his team would achieve the roadmap identified for the project and the organization.
  • Needs to identify the scope of the testing required for a particular release based on the requirements of the document.
  • Must identify the testing effort required by calculating the sizing needed for the given release and plan the required effort for the same.
  • Conduct SIT and non-functional testing
  • Prepare testing related documentation such as test plan / test result
  • Conduct SIT defect triage and generate daily defect dashboard
  • Maintain documentation of testing evidence
  • Manage UAT Defect Management from IT with business and UAT team.

Requirements:

  • Leadership experience with insurance/pension/financial industry is a must
  • Domain knowledge of MPF /Pension is perferable
  • Experience to software manual test and automated test. Know how to make use of tool to automate testing is a priority.
  • Mandatory testing tool skill: Python or Java
  • Preferred testing tool skill: TOSCA, JMeter, Junit, Postman, Karma
  • Expereince on drafting test plan, creating test script
  • Good communication skill
  • Proficient in written and spoken English. Spoken Cantonese is optional.
