IT Operations Specialist (trading systems)

1. Key Responsibilities

   • • Provide hands-on support for various financial systems, including stock/trading platforms and back-office applications.
     • Work closely with business departments to ensure uninterrupted system functionality.
     • Collaborate with application vendors and HKEX to address production issues and propose effective solutions.
   • • Monitor system health proactively, promptly identifying and resolving irregularities.
     • Troubleshoot technical problems to maintain optimal performance.
     • Execute trading system rollouts, upgrades, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
   • • Ensure successful execution of daily batch jobs within specified timeframes.
     • Maintain smooth operations across both front and back-office environments.
   • • Contribute to special projects as required, adapting to evolving business needs.

   Qualifications

   • • Hold a degree in Computer Science or a relevant discipline.
     • Possess a minimum of 3 years of experience in a financial institution.
   • • Familiarity with Hong Kong/China securities or futures transactions and Bloomberg applications.
     • Experience supporting MSSQL, MySQL, Windows, Linux, and networking (including installation and SQL coding).
     • Knowledge of deploying and installing Web and Java-based platforms.
   • • Thrive under pressure and adapt to dynamic environments.
     • Willingness to work shifts as required.
     • Strong command of written and spoken English and Chinese, with fluency in Putonghua.
     • Demonstrate independence, self-initiative, and excellent interpersonal skills.
