Internal Auditor - Life Insurance

Job description

Job Responsibilities:

  • Participate in risk assessments, audit planning, and reporting for both the region and Group Head Office.
  • Assist with special projects, including company integrations and process harmonization across Asia.
  • Utilize risk-based audit methodology and engage in audit activities (covering insurance, investment, technology, and digital areas). Prepare audit documentation and reports to effectively communicate findings, risks, and agreed management actions.
  • Aid in the development and implementation of simplification and innovation solutions (using DA, AI, machine learning, RPA) to enhance audit process efficiency and continuous quality improvement.
  • Support data analytics initiatives across the region to boost the efficiency and quality of audit deliverables.

Requirements:

  • University degree in business, computer science , accounting, finance, or related fields.
  • At least 7-8 years of audit experience, preferably in the insurance/financial sector, professional firms, or multinational corporations.
  • Familiarity with industry-standard audit methodologies and frameworks, with experience in delivering audits from start to finish.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills, with proficiency in written and spoken English. Ability to express ideas clearly, concisely, and persuasively both verbally and in writing.
  • Capable of deeply evaluating problems and challenges, with a proactive, hands-on approach to implementing solutions.
