Internal Audit Manager / Senior Manager

Overview:

As the Internal Audit Manager / Senior Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the effectiveness of internal controls, risk management, and compliance across our global operations. Your focus will be on enhancing processes, identifying areas for automation or system support with data analytical tools, and providing strategic insights to drive operational excellence.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with management to develop an annual audit plan based on risk assessments.
• Identify key areas for audit focus, considering business processes, financial systems, and compliance requirements.
• Conduct comprehensive internal audits across various business units and functions.
• Evaluate the adequacy and effectiveness of internal controls, risk management practices, and governance processes.
• Document findings, prepare audit reports, and present recommendations to management.
• Identify opportunities for process automation, data analytics, and continuous monitoring.
• Travel regionally, to perform audit assessments and follow up on recommendations
• Build strong relationships with business leaders, process owners, and external auditors.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Professional certification (e.g., CIA, CISA, CPA) preferred.
• Minimum 8 years of progressive audit experience, including managerial responsibilities.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to think strategically.
• Previous experience in data analytics or automation of audit methodologies would be an added advantage
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Fluency in English, Chinese (Cantonese & Mandarin)
• Open to Travel
