Internal Audit Manager / Senior Audit Manager

The company:

Our client, a global commerce and manufacturing business, is seeking an experienced Internal Audit Manager / Senior Audit Manager to join their team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing audit plans and strategies to ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations. The Internal Audit Manager will ensure timely completion of audits and achievement of audit objectives and assess potential risks, control weaknesses, and develop recommendations for improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement audit plans and strategies to ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
• Ensure timely completion of audits and achievement of audit objectives.
• Identify and assess potential risks and control weaknesses, develop recommendations for improvement.
• Prepare audit reports and present findings to senior management and stakeholders.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective implementation of audit recommendations.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in internal audit management.

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in internal audit management, previous audit firm experience
• Previous trading, manufacturing experience is a plus, or a product related business
• Strong understanding of audit methodologies and risk management practices
• Willingness to work as an individual contributor from planning, execution of plans and review
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to speak and write English and Chinese (Cantonese & Mandarin)
• Professional certification such as CPA, CIA, or CISA is preferred
