About the Opportunity:

We are partnering with a prestigious IT consulting firm to recruit an IT Infrastructure Manager for one of Hong Kong's top universities. This is a high-impact role where you will design, modernize, and manage the university's enterprise IT infrastructure, ensuring seamless operations for students, faculty, and research initiatives.

Your Mission:

  • Design & Optimize the university's IT infrastructure-servers, networks, storage, and virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V)-to support cutting-edge academic and research needs.

  • Manage and secure critical systems, including Active Directory, O365, IAM, Windows/Linux environments, and Kubernetes (K8s).

  • Implement cloud and hybrid solutions (AWS/Azure/GCP) to enhance scalability and innovation.

  • Lead infrastructure strategy, ensuring alignment with the university's digital transformation goals.

  • Mentor IT teams and collaborate with stakeholders to drive best practices in system reliability, security, and performance.

Who You Are:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.

  • 4+ years in IT infrastructure, with 2+ years in leadership (experience in education or large enterprises is a plus).

  • Expertise in enterprise systems (AD, Group Policy, SQL, K8s), virtualization, and cloud technologies.

  • Certifications (ITIL, CISSP, TOGAF, CCNA, etc.) preferred

  • Strong problem-solving skills and a passion for enabling education through technology.
