Information Security Manager - Financial Services - Hong Kong

Our client is a leading financial services group, and they are now looking for a high calibre Information Security Manager to join their fast-growing team.

Responsibilities:

• You will develop a security governance function including facilitation of Information Security Committee.
• You will lead refresh of annual Policies, Standards, Information Security Strategy and Roadmaps.
• You will develop and manage Information Security compliance function.
• You will maintain Information Security policies and controls, based on industry standards and best practices which incorporate all applicable legislative and regulatory requirements.
• You will develop and maintain an Information Security dashboard andmetrics that provide an accurate representation of the information security risk profile and relevant cyber threats.
• You will coordinate and oversee timely completion of internal and external audits and control assurance findings.
• You will ensure Information and Cyber Security risks are logged, identified and reported regularly to Information Security Committee and Group Technology Risk Management.
• You will build a security culture within IT by providing guidance, awareness and advocacy of Information Security.
• You will work closely with Risk, Legal and Compliance team to handle high profile breaches and incidents.

Requirements:

• Relevant University degree in Computer Science, Information Management, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Relevant experience with information security and governance, risk and compliance methods.
• Experience working with financial institutions and critical national infrastructure.
• Experience with industry best-practice approaches to the governance, operation and management of IT systems (e.g., NIST, ISO 27000, SANS Critical Controls, ITIL,COBIT).
• Strong business acumen and technology knowledge can work effectively with Senior Management.
• Strong written communication skills, experienced with writing board-level papers and verbal presentations to senior management.
