Head of Quality Assurance (Automotive | 70 - 80k)

Job description

My client is market leading automotive semiconductor solution company. Looking to enhance their Quality Assurance function, they are now in search of a Head of Quality Assurance.

Reporting to the COO, your responsibilities will include:

  • Formulate and establish the New Product Development (NPD) process at a strategic level, with consideration of operational methods and long-term business objectives
  • Serve as key stakeholder for the entire NPD lifecycle, including identifying product specifications, feature enhancements, and performance improvements
  • Regularly assess potential vulnerabilities within the NPD process, to ensure product quality, cost, or time-to-market
  • Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics to proactively address risks that could affect the product performance, market share or business performance.
  • Enhance and maintain a robust end to end quality system between NPD generation to mass production while ensuring both internal and industry compliance

To qualify, one must possess

  • Degree holder within material, physics, engineering or other related field
  • Capability to manage QA process from a strategic level with thorough understanding of practical operational methods
  • Experience with semiconductor manufacturing, specifically within the automotive field would be an advantage
  • Team leading experience, strong communication skills and strong business acumen
  • Frequent travel required to China and other APAC coutnries
