Head of FP&A - Regional

Job description

The Client:

A multinational company in the retail and consumer goods industry with a strong global presence. They are looking for a Head of FP&A to join our team and lead the financial planning and analysis function for operations in Greater China and Southeast Asia.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage the finance teams across Greater China and SEA
  • Develop and implement financial planning and analysis strategies to support business growth and profitability
  • Key finance strategic partner for regional and local business partners across various disciplines
  • Provide strategic financial insights and analysis to senior management to support decision-making
  • Lead the annual budgeting and forecasting process, and provide regular financial reporting to senior management
  • Collaborate with regional and global finance teams to ensure consistency in financial reporting and analysis
  • Monitor financial performance against budget and provide recommendations for improvement
  • Drive process improvements and efficiencies in financial planning and analysis

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
  • Minimum of 12 years of experience in financial planning and analysis, with a focus on retail or consumer goods industries
  • Experience managing finance teams in PRC and SEA
  • Strong business acumen and strategic thinking skills
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively with senior management and cross-functional teams
  • Experience working in a multinational firm, fluency in Cantonese, Mandarin and English to work with Asia and China
