Graphics Designer- Banking Industry 25-30k

Responsibilities:

• The role will involve working closely with clients at different levels across Banking business groups to create strong narratives through their presentations and gaining valuable insight into how the team delivers on its exciting portfolio of work.

• Working/Shift hours:
• ­Fixed Schedule: 5pm to 2am HKT, Mon-Sat
• ­Weekly off: Saturdays and Sundays
• ­Standard weekly working hours: 39 hours

• Produce high-quality designs and presentations in a range of formats including conceptual designs, page layout designs, video and photo editing, data visualization, graphs, charts, typography, infographics, asset creation - illustrations, icons, etc.
• Enhance slides and presentations into visually engaging format
• Working as part of the graphics and presentations team in a busy 24/7 department that produces pitch book materials and other marketing collateral.
• Work alongside Project Coordinators and/or Creative Director on design projects
• Assist with the production of pitch book materials using MS Office packages and offer conceptual and visual solutions to enhance client materials.
• Communicate with senior-level clients to understand their concepts and interpret them visually. Presentations are frequently created for multiple purposes, so the designer should be able to shift gears and adapt to different requirements.
• Ensure work adheres to all best practices and style guidelines, unless otherwise specified and work toward 100% accuracy against style and brief.
• Organize work effectively to ensure deadlines are met
• Proactively raise creative ideas and emerging trends in line with the business objectives
• Ensure that a smooth handover occurs with Presentations colleagues, as well as design teams
• Escalate any staff or client issues in a timely manner
• Proactively engage with clients to take detailed specifications and work briefs and then ensure such instructions are recorded for global designers to use
• Record and summarize client instructions for designers and brief them of client requirements, if needed

Requirements:

• At least 4 years in creative support in a corporate, service environment, ideally in a financial institution
• Advanced knowledge of industry standard graphic design applications
• Bachelor's degree/University degree
