Global Head of Merchandising and Marketing - Fashion Lingerie

Our client is a leading global fashion lingerie and swimwear company. It has a wide range of fashion product portfolios with well-established business partnerships across the globe, with a strong business presence in Europe, US and China. They are currently looking for a Global Head of Marketing and Merchandising to accelerate business growth.

Based in HK, you will be responsible for the full Profit and Loss, pricing, brand positioning, marketing, merchandising, and design teams for the international market to further expand the market share and increase revenue. As the Head of Marketing and Merchandising, your responsibilities will include:

  • Design and drive brand strategy, including brand positioning and brand vision
  • Manage strategic product research, design, development and production, pricing, channel, proposition and project implementation
  • Drive sales to achieve and exceed an annual plan based on sales, margin and profit for each market
  • Create the media & marketing strategy and monitor all relevant performance and directions
  • Supervise the budget for branding, costs and other expenses
  • Monitor margin, profit or other key performance indicators regularly
  • Prepare relevant presentations and support materials for any potential buyers
  • Develop brand positioning, distribution, marketing and pricing strategy for new upcoming brands

To qualify, individuals must possess:

  • Degree and have 13+ years experience of Merchandising, Product Development, Regional Brand or Marketing experience in Fashion / Textiles / Clothing product category
  • Experience in leading a team, a good understanding of fashion industry & manufacturing business with a proven track record in products development and production processes
  • Experience planning and developing the marketing strategy for a new brand to launch in Regional/ Global markets
  • Strong knowledge in driving brand marketing campaigns and promotions based on data and market insights
  • Solid knowledge and exposure in America/ Europe and China market is a plus
  • Outstanding high-level stakeholder management skills with a strong business acumen
  • Strong leadership skills with an exceptional solution-oriented mentality
  • Excellent command of written & spoken English and Cantonese is a MUST
