Our client is a leading multinational retailer with a strong presence across Asia. They are seeking a highly motivated FP&A Manager to join their expanding team. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with senior leadership and contribute to strategic decision-making in a dynamic, fast-paced retail environment.

Position Responsibilities

  • Lead the financial planning and analysis function, including budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning.
  • Provide insightful financial analysis to support business decisions and strategic initiatives.
  • Partner with business units to monitor performance, identify trends, and recommend actions.
  • Prepare management reports, dashboards, and presentations for senior leadership.
  • Conduct variance analysis against budget/forecast and provide commentary.
  • Support investment appraisals, new store openings, and other strategic projects.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., merchandising, supply chain, and retail operations) to align financial plans with business strategies.
  • Monitor industry trends and competitor performance to provide benchmarking insights and support strategic positioning.
  • Mentor and develop junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth.
  • Ensure compliance with corporate policies and financial standards.
  • Drive process improvements and enhance FP&A tools and systems.

Position Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related discipline;
  • A qualified Accountant
  • 6-8 years of FP&A experience within retail, luxury, or consumer goods industries.
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to translate financial data into actionable insights for non-finance stakeholders.
  • Experience working in a multinational or regional role, with exposure to cross-border operations and diverse markets.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize effectively, and deliver results under tight deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills; ability to influence stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in financial modeling, Excel, and reporting tools; experience with ERP systems is a plus.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, international environment and manage multiple priorities.
  • Fluent in English; Cantonese or Mandarin is an advantage.
