Funds Paralegal

Our client is a leading provider of legal and financial services, trusted by many of the world's largest hedge fund managers, private equity firms, and international corporations. We are assisting them to seek for a Funds Paralegal to join their Hong Kong office. This role will support their legal team in delivering high-quality services to clients in the funds industry, including hedge funds, private equity, and other investment structures.

Position Responsibilities

Client Support & Documentation

• Assist lawyers in preparing, reviewing, and maintaining fund documentation, including offering memoranda, subscription agreements, and constitutional documents.
• Draft routine correspondence and manage document execution processes.

Regulatory & Compliance

• Support compliance checks and filings with regulatory authorities.
• Maintain accurate records of fund registrations and ongoing obligations.

Transaction Assistance

• Coordinate with clients, service providers, and internal teams to facilitate fund launches, amendments, and closings.
• Assist in due diligence and information gathering for transactions.

Operational Support

• Manage filing systems, databases, and document management tools.
• Provide administrative support to lawyers and ensure deadlines are met.

Position Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Law, Business, or related discipline.
• Prior paralegal or legal assistant experience, ideally within funds, corporate, or financial services.
• Strong understanding of investment funds, corporate governance, and regulatory frameworks.
• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills in English & Mandarin.
