Our client is a world-renowned luxury manufacturing company with a global presence. We are assisting them in the search for a Director of FP&A to join their leadership team.

Position Responsibilities

  • Report to CFO and lead the group-wide budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
  • Coordinate the development of annual budgets aligned with strategic and operational goals.
  • Consolidate financial data across business units and deliver actionable insights to senior leadership.
  • Build financial models and conduct scenario analyses to support strategic initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain analytical tools and dashboards to track business performance and KPIs
  • Work closely with finance teams across multiple regions and lead key finance projects.
  • Partner with business unit leaders to align financial strategies with operational objectives.
  • Support the CFO and executive team on financial matters related to strategic initiatives.
  • Drive initiatives to enhance internal controls and streamline financial processes.
  • Proactively identify and implement process optimisation opportunities across functions and geographies.
  • Develop reports incorporating both financial and non-financial metrics to substantiate the value delivered from the process improvements.

Position Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline
  • Minimum of 12 years of progressive finance experience, including 5+ years at a Big Four firm; part of this experience should be gained in a multinational or publicly listed company, with exposure to a manufacturing environment
  • Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills
  • Professional certification: CPA, CA, ACCA, or CIMA (required)
  • Strong technical knowledge of IFRS and HKFRS, with proven experience in statutory reporting, compliance, group consolidation, and financial planning
  • Ability to understand various facets of business operations and draw strategic insights from financial data; strong presentation skills with the ability to communicate complex financial information clearly
  • Familiarity with Hong Kong Listing Rules and disclosure requirements; expertise in financial governance, policy development, and internal controls; experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite)
  • Experience in cross‑border tax regulations and transfer pricing is desirable
  • Outstanding communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated ability to build effective relationships across cultures and with diverse stakeholders
  • Detail‑oriented, analytical, and business‑minded, with a hands‑on approach
  • Strategic thinker with strong execution skills
  • Highly organized, self‑motivated, and results‑driven
  • Metrics‑driven and proactive in identifying issues, developing recommendations, and implementing solutions
  • Advanced Excel and Microsoft Office Suite capabilities
  • Fluency in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin is essential
