FP&A director

Our client is retail multinational with solid platform in Asia, year on year growth and continuous expansion plans. A rare opportunity has arisen as they are currently seeking for a commercial astute FP&A Director to lead their Asia business. This role is based in Hong Kong.

Reporting to the VP Finance, you will lead a team in Asia and covering multiple markets. This is a hands on role where you will work closely with operations, gaining thorough understanding of various businesses, value chains and their key drivers. You will provide robust support to the commercial strategies and operational plans, taking a hands on approach to managing the financials from costing to business analysis. As part of the finance leadership team, you will help drive the commercials and the full Profit & Loss and Balance Sheet. This is an exciting and challenging role where your contributions will have a significant impact across the organisation.

To qualify, individuals must possess:

• Degree holder and qualified accountant
• Minimum 15 years of financial management
• At least 5 years in solid FP&A with APAC exposure
• Proven track record in leading a successful commercial finance team
• Exposure to matrix organisation; ability to work with senior leaders
• Excellent presentation and communication skills in English and Chinese
