Financial Planning & Business Analysis Manager (Luxury Retail)

We are supporting an international leading luxury retailer seeking a highly motivated and analytical Financial Planning & Business Analysis Manager. This role will be responsible for driving financial planning, performance analysis, and strategic insights across the Hong Kong, Macau, and Taiwan markets. The successful candidate will partner closely with senior management to support decision-making and ensure sustainable business growth.

Position Responsibilities

  • Lead the budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning processes for the HK, Macau, and Taiwan markets.
  • Provide financial analysis and business performance reviews, highlighting risks, opportunities, and recommendations.
  • Monitor sales, margin, and expense trends, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Prepare and present management reports, dashboards, and KPIs to regional and global stakeholders.
  • Support strategic projects and business cases, including new store openings, retail expansion, and investment evaluations.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams (Retail, Merchandising, Marketing, HR) to provide financial insights and improve operational efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with corporate policies and maintain high standards of financial governance.

Position Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline; professional qualifications such as CPA, CFA, or ACCA are preferred.
  • Minimum of 6-8 years' experience in financial planning, analysis, or business controlling, ideally within the retail, luxury, or consumer goods industries.
  • Prior experience covering the Hong Kong, Macau, and Taiwan markets is highly desirable.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and financial planning tools; experience with SAP or similar ERP systems is a plus.
  • Fluency in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin is required.
