Financial Controller - Regional

About the client

A leading European business providing manufacturing leading industrial products to sizable organisations. With an APAC regional office in Hong Kong, they are currently looking for a Financial Controller to manage the team and become a business partner to senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the monthly financial and management reporting duties for Asia Pacific Region
  • Communicate and guide the accounting, finance team, and manage overseas members of staff
  • In charge of providing valuable insights on cash flow, balance sheet and working capital
  • Involvement ERP system implementation and streamlining projects
  • Work with regional directors across different countries to explain variances and business performance
  • Ensure internal compliance and accounting frameworks are met
  • Hire, develop and train finance staff in the business

Requirements

  • CPA Qualified with Bachelor's degree or above in Finance, Accountancy or relevant subjects
  • Previous Big 4 Audit experience is preferred
  • At least 10+ years of working experience in the commercial field leading a team of 3 or above
  • Regional experience managing APAC or Greater China is preferred
  • Previous experience in system implementation with sizable ERP systems preferred
  • Fluency in spoken and written Cantonese, English to work with Hong Kong staff. Mandarin preferred
  • Strong interpersonal skills and able to manage and develop team
