Financial Controller - Conglomerate

About the company:

A growing HK listed conglomerate which operates in a few major sectors. The global headquarters is based in Hong Kong and they have various businesses worldwide. The company is looking for a group level Financial Controller to join and lead finance team whilst assisting the directors on all levels of corporate finance roles.

The role:

• Work closely with Finance & Accounting functions to perform monthly financial reporting and analysis duties
• Work closely and monitor overseas accounting teams and maintain business relationships
• Monitor company cash flow situations and ensure treasury functions alongside relevant reporting
• Key driver of corporate business growth, including M&A, fund raising and advising internal management on business decisions
• Implement and maintain group internal controls, liaise with auditors
• Feasibility studies, modelling and due diligence on potential local and overseas deals
• Various projects by executive directors of the firm

Requirements:

• Degree Holder or above in Accounting, CPA Qualified Accountant preferred
• At least 15 years of relevant working experience preferred
• Knowledge in listing rules, HK financial reporting standards and accounting principles
• Former experience in listed company with exposure to M&A and corporate finance is preferred
• Fluency in English and Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin to work with staff in Greater China)
