Financial Analyst

The Company

Our client is an MNC from UK. It is a market leading eyewear company. They have their own factories and laboratory labs. The Hong Kong office work as a hub for manufacturing & distribution. They are looking for a Financial Analyst to support the HK and China Finance Team. The role will report to Finance Manager and assist to provide business insights for their operation and planning decisions. He/she will take lead to maintain and control key data warehouse for existing reporting capability as well as new report creation.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure accuracy, usefulness and understanding of all KPI's including working closely with site management team to help them understand and have positive impact of their performance
  • Identify business opportunities and improvement area in operation efficiency and conduct analysis to communicate business performance
  • Ensure the forecast and annual budget process runs to plan and delivers a high-quality budget
  • Responsible for project and operational risk management
  • Assist in the implementation of business development projects
  • Assist in day-to-day monitoring of China Customs compliance
  • Maintain and develop the data warehouses using information from varying sources and systems and create interfaces to enable consolidation reporting
  • Develop financial models, oversee the analysis of business cases and to aid key decision-making processes

Requirements:

  • University graduate major in Accounting or Commerce
  • 5 years relevant working experience
  • Good communication skills and interpersonal skills, able to work with all levels
  • Strong curiosity and analytical mind with data mining and modelling experience
  • Highly advanced skills of Microsoft Office tools, Excels
  • Ability of multitasking, prioritising and working with deadlines
  • Pro-active, good problem-solving skill
  • Proficient in both written and speaking English, Cantonese and Mandarin
