Finance Manager - Logistics

About the company:

A globally leading shipping and logistics company with offices throughout APAC. With over 10 people in the Finance and Accounting team, the group headquarters oversees the reporting and analysis functions of the business.

The role:

• Manage a small regional APAC Finance & Accounting team to perform monthly financial reporting and closing duties in accordance to IFRS
• Ensure all transactions and accounting information are managed in accordance to local policies and requirements
• Manage a team of 2-3 subordinates locally to perform operational accounting work
• Coordinate budgeting process, forecasting and detailed performance analysis
• Implement and maintain group internal controls, liaise with auditors
• Prepare tax computation and assist in tax planning
• System streamlining and process automation projects
• Lead and develop existing and newly hired subordinates

Requirements:

• Degree Holder or above in Accounting, CPA Qualified Accountant
• At least 8 years of relevant working experience with at least 2 years in a managerial position
• Former experience shipping or logistics industry preferred
• Excellent knowledge of accounting principles, practices and ability to enhance internal controls
• Previous experience with Oracle or SAP preferred
• Fluency in English and Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin)
