Finance Manager

The Company

Our client is a market leading material manufacturing company. They operate in 29 countries, have more than 40,000 employees around the world. They are now hiring an assistant manager who will report to a Japanese vision manager. This role will be working closely with Japan and China team.

Responsibilities:

• Lead staff in performing full sets of accounts
• Support supervisor and liaise with the group's accounting teams in overall financial planning & business analysis, consolidation, budget control, cash flow management, tax reporting & operation review
• Coordinate with external auditors in annual statutory audit, tax filing and company secretarial matters
• Review existing financial policies and develop effective control procedures for costing and operations
• Perform any assigned ad-hoc projects

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related disciplines
• Minimum 5 of relevant experience gained from manufacturing company
• PRC Accounting and financing experience is preferred
• Excellent in both written and spoken English, Cantonese and Mandarin
• Proficiency in MS Excel and knowledge in ERP system
• HKICPA or equivalent professional qualification is preferable
• Hands on audit and company secretarial experience are desirable
• Proactive, responsible, well-organized, detail-oriented and able to meet tight deadline
• A good team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
