Finance Director - Professional Services

About the company:

Our client is a leading US business with a growing presence in the Greater China area. They are a market leader in providing services and consulting to other companies across various business sectors. They are currently looking for a talented Finance Director to join their team and become a business advisor to their division heads and stakeholders

Key responsibilities

• Manage and lead the Finance & Accounting team
• Key driver of budgeting, forecasting and analysis process and be able to provide analytical insights to business partners
• Ensure monthly financial and management reports are accurately presented in accordance with company guidelines and internal control policies
• Review consolidated accounts and provide commentary on businesses to the regional headquarters
• In charge of working with external auditors, ensure compliance with deadlines and completion of statutory audits
• Ensure all compliance and regulations as met within the Greater China region

Key requirements

• Degree in Accounting, Finance or related disciplines with professional qualification
• CPA Qualified Accountant is a must, former experience in a sizable audit firm is preferred
• At least 10 years of working experience in Accounting related fields in a sizable organization and at least 3 years in supervisory or managerial level
• Strong Greater China experience, ability to manage stakeholders and to understand accounting implications from Greater China region
• Project management experience in internal control, accounting, or systems
• Good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese (Mandarin)
