Finance Advisor

Role Context

The Asia Payables finance team supports the finance function for INTO's regional offices and entities around the world. The Finance Advisor role is an entry role which is primary a transactional finance role e.g. accounts receivable and payable.

Key Accountabilities

• Generate and process sales and payable invoices for 2 entities with a high level of care and attention to detail
• Deal with daily transactions
• Assisting with month-end closing
• Answer requests and queries from the stakeholders e.g. China education agents
• Complete bank reconciliations weekly and during month-end
• Prepare monthly reports
• Provide remittance advice to education agents
• Contribute to the development of commission processes and systems
• Build effective working relationships with finance colleagues as well as the management accountants in each of our joint ventures
• Calculate commission payables for China education agents
• Manage funds for commission payments
• Provide reports to Project Manager on a month basis to inform the intercompany balances
• Responsible for ensuring month end processes are complete on time

Reporting Line

The post holder functionally reports to Asia Payables Senior Finance Advisor.

Qualifications

• Higher Diploma graduates
• Bachelor Degree in Accounting or related disciplines preferred
• Able to communicate fluently in English
• Strong commerical mind set
• Positive attitudes and behaviors in problem-solving
• Experience working in a customer focused environment is perferred
• Good IT skills and knowledge of key Microsoft packages (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• The ability to prioritize, meet deadlines and work under pressure.
• Flexibility and willingness to undertake and learn new tasks.
• Good team player.
