E-commerce Manager

Job description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement the overall ecommerce strategy to meet sales, revenue, and profitability goals
  • Manage the ecommerce team, including web developers, digital marketers, category managers, and customer service representatives
  • Oversee the ecommerce site's user experience, product merchandising, and content management
  • Analyze website performance metrics and customer data to identify opportunities for optimization and improvement
  • Collaborate with the broader business and functional teams (marketing, merchandising, operations) to align ecommerce efforts with the company's overall goals
  • Manage the ecommerce technology stack and partner with IT to ensure systems are performing effectively
  • Monitor industry trends and competitive landscape to identify new opportunities to enhance the ecommerce business
  • Develop and manage the ecommerce budget and P&L

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in ecommerce, digital marketing, or retail management
  • Proven track record of driving ecommerce revenue and profitability growth
  • Strong analytical and data-driven decision making skills
  • Excellent project management, team leadership, and cross-functional collaboration abilities
  • Up-to-date knowledge of ecommerce trends, best practices, and technologies
  • Hands-on experience with ecommerce platforms, online marketing, and website optimization
