Director, Operations - OTC Derivatives

Our client, an established banking & financial services institution in Asia, is looking for an experienced lead to manage their Derivatives Operations function based in HK.

You will be managing a team that focuses on OTC derivatives operations for the region to support this expanding business segment. You will ensure that the team delivers their tasks efficiently and with high quality, at the same time be the key point of contact for any issues and escalations. You will be engaging with different functions from front to back office for any related queries, and lead any process improvement initiatives that you deem relevant for the success of the business.

To qualify, individuals must possess:

• Bachelor's degree
• At least 12 years' relevant working experience leading Operations function in a sizeable investment bank or securities / brokerage business
• OTC Derivatives products knowledge (Equity, Fixed Income or Credit Derivatives) a MUST
• Excellent communication skills in English, Cantonese and Mandarin a plus
• Strong client servicing mindset
• Candidates must be based in HK
