  • Requirements Definition - Facilitate scoping and business priority setting for complex changes; Translate functional requirements into the architecture for IT solution(s) and define use cases and design artefacts by working closely with the business users
  • Solution Architecture - Develop the end to end solution blueprint which will act as a source of guidance and control for the solution implementation; Advise and recommend technology solutions and innovation aligned with IT strategy and architectural principles; work with DevOps team to ensure operational issues (performance, alerting, design defect related issues etc.) around IT solutions are resolved in a timely manner
  • Stakeholder Management - Coordinate with key stakeholders in business and IT to align the end-to-end solution architecture and obtain formal agreement from key stakeholders on architectural deliverables
  • Demand Management - Assist Section Head / Project Managers - IT Business Partnering to manage the intake and prioritisation of change and project requests, facilitate prioritisation and decision making process; gather feedback from business users and provide feedback to the solution delivery team to influence the direction of solution / product design
  • Performance Management (KPIs and Metrics Management) - Deliver best in class digital products to enrich customer experience and enhance operational efficiencies through the use of KPI metric collection and analysis; Collaborate closely with Digital Transformation Program Office to monitor the progress and proactively communicate to the business where necessary


  • A bachelor's degree in information technology or related discipline
  • 10+ years of IT related experience in architect/managerial position, preferably in insurance or financial industry
  • A demonstrated track record of making a difference and adding value. Must be able to develop relationships across IT and business units, working cross functionally to achieve results
  • Proven ability to lead and demonstrate strong sense of ownership
  • Proven ability to present complex information in a simplified fashion to facilitate understanding
  • Experience in executive communication
  • Experience in Omni Channel Technology, CRM, Mobile, Web and API
  • Experience with Cloud platforms (Azure preferred)
  • Experience with relational databases and data warehouse such as Azure SQL, SQL Server, Sybase, Oracle or others
  • Experience with NoSQL DBs such as Azure Cosmos DB, ElasticCache, MongoDB, Redis, Neo4j or others
  • Experience with Big Data related solutions such as Azure Data Lake, HDInsight, Azure Analytics, Azure Event Hub, Informatica AXON, EDC, Hadoop, MapReduce, Spark or others
  • Experience with statistical tools and building machine learning algorithms using tools such as R or others
  • Experience with data visualization/analytic tools such as Tableau, MS Power BI or others
  • Self-motivated, action-and-result oriented, team player and proven ability to influence others
  • Excellence verbal/written communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
