Deputy Director Internal Audit - Real Estate

About the Company

Our client is a leading property developer with a diverse portfolio in commercial, residential and hospitality sector. With a sizable audit team and experienced senior management, they are currently looking to strengthen their team and hire a Deputy Director. The role will have low travel patterns and be based in Hong Kong.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Manage audits assignments from planning to development of audit program
• All rounded financial and operational audit assignments whilst leading audit subordinates
• Execute fieldwork and provide insightful reports to internal business stakeholders
• Manage internal business stakeholders and ensure that recommendations are implemented
• Prepare audit reports to senior management and audit committee
• Lead investigations on ad hoc cases with recommendations of improvement
• Ad Hoc projects and duties

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or above in Finance, Accounting, or relevant disciplines
• At least 12 years of experience in Audit, Big 4 experience is an added advantage
• Qualified Accountant or CIA, CISA advantageous
• Strong leadership, communication skills and ability to understand complex issues
• Fluency in written and spoken English and Chinese
• Minimal business travel requirements
