Credit Controller / Credit Control Officer

Our client is international law firm with great culture and benefits. To cope with their recent business expansion, they are now looking for a Credit Controller / Credit Control Officer to join their Hong Kong Finance team:

Report to Finance manger in HK, you are responsible for:

• Responsible for comprehensive credit control services and make sure its comply with the firm's payment terms and policy
• Perform Debt collection activities, aging report and credit management
• Provide a comprehensive and commercially focused credit control service to enhance the cash collection in Hong Kong
• Standardize credit control process to ensure all outstanding debts are properly attended and updated comments are captured in the firm's collection system; promote best practice on credit control across the practice groups
• Contact the clients directly for outstanding debts, follow up externally and internally to solve any issues until collection of the debts
• Regular communication with matter partners/managers and local finance team on debts status, identify potential problem areas and propose solutions; identify and escalate any large risky matters to relevant stakeholders
• Ad hoc work as required

Requirements:

• Degree in Accounting or Finance or related disciplines
• At least 2 years of experience in credit control, preferrable in professional services industries
• Excellent communication skills and attention to details
• Good command of English and Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin)
• Candidate with less experiences will be considered as Credit Control Officer
