Company Secretarial (Assistant) Manager - Listed Co.

Job description

Our client is a well-established and reputable Hong Kong listed company (consumer sector). To facilitate their growth, they are looking for a high calibre Company Secretarial (Assistant) Manager to join their team in Hong Kong to handle the corporate secretarial function.

THE ROLE

  • Overseeing the corporate secretarial functions, reporting to Director
  • Provide professional advice related to compliance for listed entities and related subsidiaries regulations
  • Responsible for corporate, legal and company secretarial documentation
  • Business Partner with Directors and top management to add value to decisions making and driving business strategies
  • Ensure accuracy and high standard of company records and documentations
  • Foster and advise on quality management strategies and plans, especially related to Patents or IP
  • Develop plans for policies improvement and enhance the company's corporate governance
  • Perform ad-hoc projects as needed

REQUIREMENTS

  • Candidates with Legal Counsel background, or ICSA/ HKICS qualified Chartered Secretary whom worked in the Legal team in corporate platforms, ideally listed companies with global coverage
  • At least 5-8 years of legal (including company secretarial exposure) experience in sizable organizations, having TMT sector or consumer industries experiences will be advantageous
  • Exposure in listed companies is highly preferred
  • Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Proactive, organized, and able to work under pressure and to meet deadlines
  • Strong analytical mindset and solid accounting knowledge
  • Proficient in English, Cantonese and Mandarin preferably
  • Able to work under pressure and to meet deadlines
  • Strong and detail-oriented mind
