Principal Consultant, Supply Chain & Procurement
My client is rising cosmetic retail chain. Looking to enhance their buying function, they are now in search of a Buying Assistant.
Reporting to the Buying Manager, your responsibilities will include:
- Assist the Buying Manager in sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing products from suppliers
- Register new items and updating existing items in the system
- Issue purchase orders and following up with suppliers on delivery status
- Prepare and sending invoices and payments to suppliers
- Create and maintain various reports and documents using Excel and other tools
- Communicate and coordinate with relative stakeholders to ensure retail inventory
To qualify, one must possess
- Diploma or associate degree holder with at least 1 years of sales support or sales admin experience
- Experience within the retail or consumer industry would be an advantage
- Proficient user of Excel with functions such as vlookup and pivot table
- Willing to learn, detail minded and problem solving mentality
- Basic written and spoken Chinese and English
